⁹ The elders of Gebal and her experts were within you,
caulking your leaks.
All the ships of the sea with their sailors
were with you to trade for your wares.
¹⁰ Persia, Lud and Put were in your army,
our men of war.
They hung the shield and helmet in you;
they gave you splendor.
¹¹ Men of Arvad and Helech were all
around on your walls,
the Gammadim were in your towers.
They hung their shields all around on your walls.
They perfected your beauty.
